Speedometer Cable Connectors 444-544

Okay, so it seems the fuel gauge itself is bad, and, since speedometer is still noisy and the trip counter still not working right, I'm going to pull the whole cluster again and swap in one that came from a 1965, or there abouts, 122 which has the large speedo cable connector. This means that I'll have to change speedo cables. I'm looking for the longest cable I can find, at least 71 inches, so I can route it with a generous curve as it leaves the M41 I have in this car. #670505 Is the cable that goes with an M41 in an Amazon, but I'm not certain about its length. There is a cable, #676696, for the earlier 140 series with OD that is 71" long. Does anyone know if a cable for a 140 with the earlier dash will fit the connector on a post-1964 122 instrument cluster? The threaded part looks the same, but the 140 connector has an extra protrusion, or tubular support, where the cable goes in.
