Rear Seat Latch issues 200

Hey guys,

Got my "new to me" 240 wagon and I have a few minor issues...... Im working on the glove box rattle right now and it will probably be gone but I have a rather large problem thats a "deal killer" if I cant fix it..... Im going to be using the wagon to haul a lot of items and for some reason the rear seat latch is jammed on the drivers side. The passengers side latch lets loose but the drivers side seems to not want to budge. Any idea of how one would go about fixing this? I would be "ok" with only one side latching as the rear seat passengers seat belts are attached to strong posts in the event of an accident...... We have tried prying it with a screwdriver and giving it a nice polite kick to break it loose to no avail......
