has anyone seen that r134a retrofit kit at auto parts stores? 200

Hello there. I was wondering if any of you guys saw the R12 to R134a retrofit kits at PepBoys or Advance Auto Parts. Is this a good idea for using in a 1987 240DL? I haven't done anything to the a/c system since I got the car last summer, and I can't stand the heat in NJ in the summer. Would I have to change the things that are included in the FCPgroton.com kit or will this kit take care of that? I know I have to get the system flushed of the R12 (which I don't think I have any of) so I guess I'll also have to have it all checked for leaks. Let me know of anything I should look out for or tips on minimizing the expenses.
