With excellent help from Brickboarders I was able to sucessfully replace the A/C compressor on my '94 960. Once I got everything back together, reconnected the battery I want to start up the car in order to evac and charge the A/C system. The car fired up right away and ran for 2 seconds before stopping. Now the starter cranks but the car will not start. During the compressor replacment I disconnected the battery removed the belt, and radiator but did nothing else to the car.
I did have to move the car in and out of the gargage by pushing it but did nothing else. A Volvo enthusiast I know said, that 900's have a fuel shut off switch in the trunk when the car is elavated or if you try and move it with the battery disconnected. I know Ford does this on certain models but I can't find a shut off switch or leveler reset anywhere. My car does have a security system and I did disconnect the battery after the no start for a couple of hours to try and reset any weirdness created by the security system but to no avail.
My friend also mentioned a main system fuse similar to my 240's but I am unable to find that either.
I have scoured the 700/900 FAQ section, my Mitchell manuals and a few other sources but thought soemone out there may have had a similar situation.
Thanks,
Tomb
