How do you know when to replace your struts? 200 1986

Thanks guys,

at 278,000 mi. then even if the struts have been replaced once it would not be inappropriate to replace them again at this point...

seems like the most definitive test is to replace them and see if that improves things!

I don't feel like I lose control hitting bumps in the turns but it seems a little sloppy up there when I do.

I appreciate the collective insight!

thanks

jack
