71 140 Front Brakes 140-160

Help!

Can anyone here unravel the apparent mystery that surrounds the front brake configurations on the '71 140 series cars. I know by reading the '71 shop manual that the 140 "E" had different front rotors than the "S".

Specifically, what were the front brake system differences between the E and S, aside from the fact that the E rotor was thicker than the S? Was there a different caliper and/or master cylinder that went with the E rotor? And most importantly, were the E rotors vented, or like the S, just solid disks?

Thanks!
