Bumber on an 84 240 200

Hey there fellow Volvo owners,

Just recently purchased this 84 244DL with some very minor front end damage on the driver's side. I have most of the replacment parts but have been having some trouble locating the driver's side "hockey puck" piece of trim above the bumber. I can find tons of them for the 86' model year and on but not very many if any for the earlier bodystyle. Does anyone know if the later model bumber trim will fit an '84? Also, the front bumber has a dent in it. Can I get away with just replacing the rubber cover (purely for looks)? Thanks for your help.
