I think I speak for a lot of us when I say "We reuse them"

We're not saying that it is a good idea, or that you should, just that we always just put on anoter dab of LocTite and put them back in.

There are only a few bolts that REALLY can be used only once. Those are bolts that actually stretch past their point of elasticity when torqued. If you reuse them, they will stress-harden and not stay tight through temperature cycles and will also become brittle. Such bolts are most often found on heads and flywheels.
