problems with brake bleeding 200

so I replaced the rotors and calipers, and I'm in the process of bleeding the front brake lines through the caliper- the passenger front bled smoothly, but when I started bleeding the driver's front caliper , it was like I bled all the fluid out of the line- I am using a brake bleeding kit from Napa- with a small resevoir and a one-way valve (at least I think it is). Fluid & air came out of the drivers side at first, but then just air. the fluid in the master cylinder is full- I just can't get the fluid to bleed through. I can see movement of air- but thats it. is there some blockage or something? I removed the resevoir (thinking the valve or something vas blocked) and left the hoses attached to the bleed valves, but still nothing came out. I don't see any leakage under the car. any suggestions?
thanks
