CR-814 Radio/CD Changer Error Codes 900 1994

Wife was in a single car fender bender a few weeks ago, she hit the right rear corner into a guard rail in snowy conditions. She's fine, was a bit shaken though. Just got the car back from the body shop and they did a decent job with the metal/paint work but I'm unimpressed by their aftermarket taillight which has a gasket that seems to be 2x too thick, also they chipped (and glued back) a corner of the left tail light which is ~2 years new, oh, and my passenger side window doesn't go all the way down... I'll be on the phone first thing on Monday. (we picked the car up after hours on Friday).

ANYHOW...in the course of the fender bender, the CD changer was jostled enough so that three of the CDs that were in the 6-disc holder flew out and landed on top of the drive mechanism (those of you who have seen the inside of one of these hopefully will understand), there is also a CD in there that was "on-deck"...not playing but loaded into the mechanicals of the player.

Read the FAQ before attacking the problem. Had code E01 on the head unit display. Unable to eject the cartridge from the housing. Popped the cartridge out with a credit card and removed the three CD's that fell out of the cartridge, removed the other two CDs from the cartrige and re-inserted. This got the eject button to respond but the CD that is in the player will not come out. Now I have code E02. Can't find the hole that Rob Bareiss mentions in the FAQ to eject the disc, I tried to fiddle with the mechanism but to no avail.

Anyone ever have a CD stuck in their changer with code E02? How did you get it out and reset the system?

Many thanks,
Bean
