Water leaks in the windsheild area 200 1980

The leak may have also been from the sunroof, if your car has one.

On my 85 244GL (recently purchased) the driver's side drain hose kept popping back into the A pillar, leading to water constantly draining into the car. The floor pan rusted out TWICE as a result of this. Attached pic shows the inside view of the drain hose, normally hidden behind the fuse panel.

The hose is supposed to stick out a bit, so that the water runs down in the hinge area.
