Can i plug my 'PulseAir' System?? 200

Hi all, i have a B23E engine with 'PulseAir' emissions control system thing- ie: air from intake tract is drawn to the exhaust manifold to control emissions or whateber.. will it damage anything if i plug up the pipe.. it makes a very loud irritating noise.. and, well if i dont need it, i wont have it :-)
