speedo rebuilding questions 120-130

When my speedo face paint was painted, the 4 colored lenses were removed. Any advice on best way to get them back into place? I'm not sure if I should use superglue, don't know if that will damage the colored plastic. Is it good idea to remove (or scruff up) the paint around the 4 little holes, so the plastic lenses have better chance of staying attached to faceplate?

One other question, which has been answered before, but I'm having trouble searching the archives.... What is best type of lubrication to use on various metal/ plastic pieces inside speedo? I seem to remember reading that white lithium grease and a real light oil are acceptable. Any suggestions on what exactly needs to be lubricated are appreciated.

Dinero the sedan is back in PDX, weatherman blew forecast as usual, it rained the whole way back. Ended up using carcover, didn't damage the paint at all.
