760 turbo oxygen sensor 700

Hi All,

I recently noticed a sharp increase in gas usage on my '84 760 turbo. I was going to check the oxygen sensor today and found the black wire from the sensor disconnected. It looks like it goes to a green wire on the car's harness. Why would this be unplugged? The sensor has two white wires as well. Where do I take a voltage reading at? I was thinking that I was supposed to unplug the black wire and take the reading at it.

Thanks,
Dave
