Protecting New motor mounts from oil 200 1983

Just got my new motor mounts for my 1983 244 Turbo.

I went with the diesel mounts, they bolt in and are much stronger, and got them new from the dealer. They were about 50 bucks a piece. I don't want to deal with motor mount problems again for a while.

I saw a post a long time ago about protecting them from oil. I think that the person wrapped them in something, some kind of protective sheathing before installing them back in. If i remember right it was somethign from the post office.

Anyone remember this post, or the poster, or any other ways to protect my mounts. I am working on stopping the leaks, but until then, I don't want to risk it.

thanks,

smith
