the other day, when i filled up my brick i hit the trip reset button and from there noticed that the odometer and trip meter stopped working. now, i know this is relatively common and just discovered a good way to avoid this is to avoid using the trip meter. LUCKILY, i have a brick for spare parts so i can take that little gear from spare brick and put it in good brick and be happy again.

HOWEVER, my question is, i think it'd be cool to have a speedo/odometer in kilometers. is that possible? i've seen them on ebay and everything, so i could get one, but i wanna know if i can put one in and have it work correctly.

don't ask why i wanna do this. i'm just a dork and like everything european.
