B21FT 200

Not sure if you'd even want to put a B230FT in place of the B21FT, either - in my opinion the B21FT was the strongest, toughest motor Volvo made, albeit not as spirited in stock form as the B230FT. How much of that was due to the computerized fuel system in the later motor I'm not sure, I expect that gave the B230FT an edge over the older K-jet engines in addition to the extra 200cc displacement, though there's still plenty of tuning to be done with K-jet, and it's as reliable as they come. Long live the 240 turbos!
