87' 760 Turbo that cuts out badly. 700

I recently bought an 87 760 Turbo with 166k knowing it had an issue, just not sure what. It starts fine and will idle fine as well, but when you accel. it starts to "bug jump", and cut out. It is hard to tell if it is fuel or electrical. It is worse from 2000 to 2500 rpm. If you stomp it, it will eventually starts picking back up. If you stomp it from a dead stop it will cut out some but usually will pick up. If you drop the auto to 2nd it will run fine around 4500rpm. When it cuts out the revs drop to near idle and you think it is going to die but it doesn't. The pause before it picks back up can last several seconds. I have replaced plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, switched air mass sensor to one I know is good, and checked several grounds including the one below the right side A pillar near the computer. Where should I check next?
