Heater core replacement, 700 1987

Well it's that time folks. After 18 years, 253kmiles my 87 760GLE needs a new cooling system. I have replaced (or had replaced) all the hoses, thermostat, some seals...yadda yadda yadda and now to the heater core...the lovely impossible to get to heater core.

Since I will invest the better portion of a weekend to this delighful task (i love the smell of antifreeze in the morning...) does anyone have any recommendations on a replacement?

The 4-seasons unit can be had for around $100 (sounds too good to be true). Is a Nissens, or Volvo unit preferable?

Oh yeah i replaced the water control valve and expansion tank (although the aftermarket tank has already split) and cap.
