AW70 leaking 200 1991

Hi Smitty:

Could be the leak source is from one of the steel lines that run from the trans to the radiator for trans cooling. They are attached to the side of the trans by a metal clamp that does over time rub through the tubing causing a leak down the trans on the passenger side. New lines are available. As a temporary repair you can cut the line and splice in a short piece of rubber tubing, should be about 5/16 and secure the tubing with two metal clamps. Hope this helps.
