AW70 leaking 200 1991

I've seen 2 in the last week where the selector shaft seal on the passenger side (just above the cooler line fittings) slid out of the bore partway then cocked sideways - one on my girlfriend's car, one on my mechanic's car. Never seen it happen before, then 2 at once... Seems like it may be contagious - I'm quarantining her car from mine now. In the absence of having replacements in stock we opted to gently tap the seal back into place. The dripping has stopped but I'm sure it's just a temporary fix - the replacements are ordered. Replacing the seal will involve removing the top cooler line to allow a socket to be used to press the new seal squarely into the bore, otherwise seems straightforward. Best of luck!
