B18 overdrive questions 120-130

As I recall, you could use ATF in it (I believe it was type F in the standard gear boxes) or in warmer climates they said it was ok to run straight 30 weight. The fill plug is on the side of the gear box, the same one that you use to fill the gear box with also fills the overdrive unit. As far as a filter goes, there is a screen in the bottom of the sump that is on the bottom of the overdrive unit, the one with four screws in it. Why it does not work, who knows? Put the correct lubricant in it, run it for a bit, and then change it out again and see if that helps. If not you will need to diagnose it further from there. Always start with the electrical portion and go from there.
