Or, you could get really ambitious and pull one at the bone yard. It'll help you learn the job, anyway.....

I lucked out and found a car which somebody already did nost to the dismantling -- no dash, console,-- nothing. Still it took another 1/2 hour just to open up the heater box, to find all those hidden screws, move the rubber air valves, etc.

But I was rewarded a pristene OE unit. For $10
