B18 to B20 Conversion?? 120-130

I used to have a B20-powered 1972 145, and I got to know it's odd dual-carbness, timing, manifold, valve cover, etc.

I was at IPD (or maybe it was VLV World) yesterday and noticed a B18 to B20 conversion/rebuild kit. I also notice very little in the way of engine rebuild kits for the B18. There was little to no information on this conversion, so I'm left scratching my head. What's different between the familiar B20 and the mysterious B18? What's this conversion all about?

Six Volvos: all wagons.... 1972 145S, 1976 245 DL, 1983 245 GL, 1986 740 GLE, 1990 740 GL, now a 1995 940. Number 7 (a 1967 122S Wagon) is on the way.... Who needs a sedan, when you've got storage compartments in a wagon?
