Distributors and electronic conversions revisited 444-544

I use a electronic module on my 026 dizzy by about a year (a compufire unit, similar to pertronix). It abandond me (fried) on middle of the street. I return to points and add a MSD 5 capacitive ignition external unit. On my humble opinion, it is a more suitable configuration for amazons (and msd 5 ignition - or any similar module- extends the life of points ).

On a previous post I see a photo of the engine on Barongray car. He uses another (more powerfull) capacitive ignition unit. Probably he can made a more experienced opinion about the advantages/disvantages of this little "red bricks" units.

Happy volving
