Beautiful shorts 700 1989

Oh, I meant short circuits. I'm still on the hunt for the short that's blowing my #1 fuse as soon as I turn the key. I'm waiting on my oem wiring diagrams in the mail, but in the mean time I traced the short from the fuse box to the positive post (glad the battery didn't blow) by way of the fat brown wire. When it reaches the battery it connects with 2 other red one's that go back in the car to the positive terminal. I took the crimp at the + post apart and the brown one's clean, but the red ones go straight to ground. I've got the panel under the glove box out and I think I see the terminal (Haynes has nothing on it). Is that the terminal, and if so, is it easier to access with the glove box out???
