Hi Guys:
I was wondering if someone could help me out with this sudden problem.
The automatic transmission gear selector on my 90 740 16 valve 152k all of a sudden refuses to go to PARK. I drove it for 40 miles or so tonight,stopped,
parked no problem.Came back home and the the gear selector doesnt go to Park.
The indicator actually doesn't pass from Neutral to Reverse and to Park,but Reverse engages although the back up lights don't come on.It goes and works fine
on Drive,2nd and 1st gears.Does anybody have a clue of what's wrong or what to do ? Or do I have to go to AAMCO and get ripped off?
