No Blinkers 200 1988

A couple of weeks ago the blikers would not work not even the hazard lights. So I check the relay and cleaned the contacts and the fuses. The relay looks almost brand new. They worked for awhile until night before last and they stop working again. The contacts and fuses are still clean. I did not clean the ground if there is one. Where is it so I can clean it and what else will I have to do to get the blinkers to work again?
The relay may have been replaced in the past due to it not being a Bosch relay and looking so new.

Thanks,
Ace
