New seats for my 164e 140-160 1975

Wow, what a difference a little foam makes. Our local P&P gives seats away at $18 each, so I got 2 from a 1990 wagon. Black/dark gray cloth to replace the black leather seats. Too bad I couldn't use the back seat cushion from the wagon, next trip. Washed the covers in the machine with Tide and CloroxII, getting out most of the coffee stains (I hope that is what that brown stain was). Used an old pair of jeans for reinforcing the foam with 3M glue, which is fast and works great.
Now I don't know what to do with the old seats. The Spanish moss used for padding crumbled all over the garage floor. I guess the whole seat goes to the garbage man?
I was thinking of adding heated seat switches to the dash, but will I need a relay for that? Each switch has 4 wires, 2 for the bulb and two for the heat. I assume the bulb wires I could connect to the other instrument bulb wiring, and the heat wires just get connected to the proper fuse. Can I add both seat heaters to the same fuse, or should I upgrade to a higher number fuse? That will fill my switch panels so there are no more blanks.
This is a lot of fun. Most of the bleeding has stopped on my fingers and hands from the sharp edges under the seats, and I found another 27 cents in the old seat rails!
