Time for Muffler Change: Sport or Stock? 120-130

I bought my 122 in November and now that the snowy winter is past, it is time to start working on it.

One of the first items of business is a exhaust system re-do. The tail pipe is rusting away and the muffler doesn't sound right.

A couple of questions:
1) Sport or stock? I have noticed both sold on EBAY. What are advantages of going 1-inch or 2-inch? Are these Scandix systems on EBAY reliable?
2) Weber or SU. I have a Weber on the car now but I am considering going to the dual carbs. Should I make that decision first before the exhaust?

I really appreciate this helpful community. As I learn by doing, I hopefully will be able to offer more advice in return.
