960 bucking between 3rd and 4th gears

My 1993 960, which just had the tranny rebuilt( cost me 2300), has a minor bucking problem when car tries to go from 3rd to 4th gear. It's like it isn't sure which gear to go into. If you drive aggressivlly, the thing shifts and runs perfectlly. It only bucks when you drive between 40 and 50 mph, and gently feather the throttle. Do you think this is tranny related, or just a coincidence, and something else is going bad?
