Now that the manifolds are off of my b30, what are these two gizmos for? Around cyl #6, just above the oil filter. It is time to clean the intake manifold, but now that there is room to explore I found these. The one on the right has 3 nipples inside. The one on the left has two flat blade connectors.

I am going to spray carb cleaner outside and use an old tooth brush. Be back later,

PS. My alternator doesn't have a ground wire connected to it. There is a black wire in the harness, but no place to connect it to the alternator. Is this going to bite me someday? Car appears to run fine as is.
