Buying a 91 740 Wagon

Hello,
I am Buying a 1991 745 Wagon. The car is in good shape, with all sorts of options (Auto, PW, PL, leather, sunroof, roofrack, tape player) but it has 219,000 miles on it. This is my first Volvo, although I have driven a 244 SLE and a V70. I am a little concerned with the mileage, even thought the three owners before me have taken great care of it. It is complete with all maintenance logs, etc. I have been told that this car is just getting broken in good. My brother-in-law, who is a Volvo mechanic, says that it should be a good car. I am just wondering if I should be concerned. It seems from my research that high milage is sort of a pride thing for Bricksters. I am also wondering if any Alpine CD changer will work with the factory head unit. Any info you have for me will be greatly appreciated.

Keith
