A B30 what is it? 140-160

My green manual is for 1973, which does make things difficult! The cold start wiring currently goes to the front of the engine under the thermostat. The wire going across the picture appears to be connected to the temp gauge in the instrument cluster, if I could get it off without breaking it then I could verify this. Very crusty.

Previous owner negated/bypassed all pollution control stuff. There are no O2 sensors or cat converter, if there were any on this car. The rail under the exhaust manifold has been welded shut, making the pipe extentions into the exhaust ports usless. I wonder if I should just cut them off and remove them and then plug the six holes in the manifold. (Nah, too much work for no appreciable gain.)

FCPGroton had exhaust pipe gaskets and I will get them on Thursday, I hope, then it goes all back together. So I have a few days to look and study.
