Feedback on sputtering in Boost for 89 745 tic 700

I posted a short while ago an issue I was having with my boost. Had sputtering during acceleration and deceleration in boost. Swapped airfilter, fuel filter and nothing helped. Thought Turbo was dying-feared for the worst. Friend told me to check the pressure line going into the intercooler and sure enough under the clamp I found a moderate amt of deterioration from the years of oil passing through. Replace same with OEM and runs like brand new. Apparently it had been leaking slowly over the years and one doesnt notice these subtle changes in performance. db 89 745 w/208k
