How to replace cooant temp sensor 95 960 900

My car doesn't have that sensor, but the diagram in the manual shows it. It is located about in the middle of the back end of the head down mear the block. The diagram shows it to be like a bolt with a couple wires coming out of the head.

When you buy the new one that should help you identify it.

On my '96 with the OBD-II Motronics 4.4 system the sensor in the thermostat serves dual purpose. It signals the ECU and the ECU in turn drives the indicator on the dash.
