bunch of questions for y'all today, thanks in advance.

so i have been having overheating problems and problems restarting it. so in the last week i have put in a new radiator, coolant temp sensor, and thermostat and everything seemed fine. now a week later my odometer has stopped working (clock, speedometer, etc work) and the temp gauge is fluctuating a lot, running right below the red, and give it a few minutes and it goes back down. doesn;t matter if your in traffic or on the freeway. i check the hoses and radiator and everything seems fine. are these two issues related? after doing some research here, i have ordered a new Odometer Gear from Jeff G. hopefully this will fix the odometer problem, but what do you think the temp issue is? do you htink if i did the IPD temp compesation board kit, it will cure my issues?
