Windshield replacement, preferable brands? 700 1989

I while back I took a rock right in line with my right eyeball, so it was an insurance job. The new glass is PPG and has been fine for 2 years, despite a couple of good rock/debris strikes. I was advised I could have gotten the original Volvo glass, but figured it was my own insurance rates that would eventually be higher because of it.
Out of pocket I'd definitely go for the bargain glass, it works just fine and you won't have to kick yourself NEXT time it breaks...
