Body work question, removing paint 140-160

Hello board, I have a question about some minor body work.

I just bought a used door for my 144 and it looks like it has about six different colors of paint on it. The door is straight and rust free, but I would like to strip the paint off in prep for the body shop. Trying to save a few $$ here. Is there a product on the market that strips paint off easily? I have an angle grinder but I am afraid to try it because in the past when I have used it, it gouges sometimes (I am just so-so with it, so it could be me).

Any suggestions? I will not be painting the door, just trying to get it to the bare metal so it is set to go for the body shop.

Thanks
