air conditioning 200 1987

ok so when i got my car, the air conditioning switch was disconnected. i mean, that white line was cut. through the white rubber and through the metal. now i want to recharge my air conditioning for the summer-what should i do to repair this? also, i'm curious as to where the wires go in the back of the switch. i know which wires go there, just not sure where they go.

also, what's the best way to find out what size my center bearing is?? i don't know where it's located so i don't know how to find it.
