Best Way to Clean a used Turbo 700 1988

OK here is the situation. I bought a good used 92 B230FT (106K) from a boneyard and when the motor was taken out of the car they must have laid it down in the dirt because the end of the oil return tube on the Turbo is plugged with dirt (they didn't tape or plug the exposed turbo ports with anything) There is even a small amount of sand/dirt in the turbine area.

Is there an easy way to clean out the oil passage, and the turbine housings without tearing the whole unit down? I was thinking about trying to flush it out but wasn't sure what to use? I don't want to damage any seals etc. But I want to make sure that it is clean before I do the motor swap!

Any help would be most appreciated.

Kevin
