Is this normal?

This is probabbly a stupid question, but... is it normal for the RPM's to go down when I use the power windows? I've noticed that sometimes the engine runs better if I keep the headlights off. Could that be a bad battery?

Maybe small alternator?

I've had the rpm's going up and down from 800-500 then turn the headlight switch off and the idle stay at 800. Then other times it doesn't matter, it still oscillates.

I'm going to check the IAC but I havn't yet.
