I don't want to do this but reality can be painful. I have accepted a job in Alaska, and having a new house and baby in the near future can no longer have so many hobbies in the driveway. I am looking to sell my 65 PV544 sport in the next month. I am hoping to avoid ebay, and prefer giving fellow Volvo fans a chance first. I will list this on the classifieds later today so hopefully no one will be offended by my listing this.
The car is mostly stock. It has a b18 converted to a b20 by previous owner, compression is in the 180s across all 4 cyl. It has all new urethane bushings front and back, new springs, head redone about 40,000 miles ago. interior was redone by custom shop to original pattern...blue with white piping on top, paint and body about 3 years ago. Carbs were rebuilt and polished by Rhys at Island Automation a few months ago. New brakes and lines. The car scored 93 points at the 2002 west coast meet in Canada. It has a cd player mounted in the glove box, dash is uncut and has radio delete plate. Cibie lights and alternator conversion. New tires. lots of spare parts. Consistently getting 33mpg.
The car needs a new radiator, was planning on having it recored ($200) this summer, and it has been my daily driver so the paint is starting to show rock chips, etc. It is not perfect anymore, but a quick makeover will make it a show stopper again.
I am asking $3500 firm and will have more photos taken tomorrow (its been raining today) So sorry about the only photo on my computer includes the fleet.
