71 142E Idle problem 140-160

George,
I have inspected the mechanical side completely. I put a new spring and inspected the whole setup. I really believe that it is not in the mechanical section of the throttle cable. I will go ahead and tear apart the butterfly, as it is not a big job.
Thanks for your help.... wish I was in Oklahoma instead of Mass....

I am trying to get a transfer to North Carolina. It HAS to be better than here.
