Follow up to whats going on with my instrument panel, etc. 200

First off, thanks for everyones help in diagnosing the problem I was having. After the weekend of working on the Volvo, I finally have the it back on the road. Did the IPD temp board fix, we shall see what happens when i get it on the highway later this week. I also did the odometer fix, but get this, the little sprocket that I set out to replace was not broken like the ones I found in the junkyard or as described by everyone. I did replace it with a new one from http://www.odometergears.com/ which, I recommend. The sprocket I replaced had turn soft, almost like rubber, not brittle like the ones I found in the junkyard. Now everything is working fine, so I guess replace it while you have the instrument panel out, and if it doesn't look broken, it may have just turned soft.
