Idiot did a U-turn at zero feet in front of me and I pummeled the brakes = no ABS but I'm pretty proud of myself for not killing the idiots G/F. Down(Up)side is I've discovered that my 14 year old rubber hoses to the calipers are sadly in a state of decay and my ride is immobilized in the driveway.

Over to you. FCP has German hoses for $8, I really don't think I need braided hoses, and the dealer i$n't open to give me an e$timate.

PS
I took my A licence a couple of years ago and something the instructor said really stuck. Don't fixate on the obstacle - STEER to the opening. The natural tendancy is to look at the obstruction, and whatever goes on in that lizard brain we all have, the result is that you arrive at the scene of the accident.
