VADIS/ALL DATA - CATALOGS

I use Vadis myself and it runs about 2-3K to get set up with a laptop, VCT 2000, and a bootleg disc. At this point you have not only the parts catalog but you have fault tracing and diagnostic capabilities and you can interface with '99 and later cars. I also have the Volvo micro fische which is handy but only goes up to around '99-'00. If you are just looking for the Vadis parts and diagnostic trouble shooting without the interface for the later cars all you really need is a bootleg disc and a computer that is running windows XP, preferrably XP Pro.

I have used SomeData (aka AllData) and it is ok at best, but most of them are. Mitchell on Demand and Some Data leave a lot to be desired. They are like using the Haynes manuals, OK at best.
