I just have a quick question. I have an 82 244 with the B21-F kjet CIS. I had to replace my 02 sensor with a new one I bought on ebay. The vendor sent me a bosch part number #11038 whose interval (the frequency/lambda) is 3000. Just to make sure I called the volvo dealer and they said my car uses an #11032 whose frequency is unknown to me. OK, so I pull my old sensor and it's marked #11037 and it seemed to work fine as far as idle and mileage goes but I replaced it to track down a bad mileage problem and for general maintenence. From what I can guess and I'm probably wrong, the interval refers to the frequency at which the sensor operates. Can anyone tell me for sure if the #11038 is ok for my car. The ebay vendor was very specific about the applications for it. I checked the Bosch web site cross referencing part numbers and the like but couldn't couldn't find #11038 (or #11037 for that matter) listed as a fit for my brick. In fact the Bosch website lists the #11032 as the proper sensor confirming what the VolVo dealership told me. My greatest concern Is that I might fry the ECU with too much voltage from the oxygen sensor since it Might operate at a "higher frequency" than the #11032. Maybe the #11038 is a new improved model or maybe its a unversal model? Let me know what you guys think.
