Drivetrain Clunk 700 1989

Could be any of them. Look under the car at the transmission mount crossmember. There's a hole in the center of it with a stud inside it, coming down from the transmission. If the stud extends much beyond the crossmember, i.e. hangs down through and beyond the hole, then the odds are the trans mount is shot. But a bad u-joint might make the sound you mention. I would give less attention to the center bearing.
