Mystery stalling problem 140-160 1972

Thanks John, though much of this was over my head. I will print out and give to Ron, however, who keeps the buggy on the road.

When the stalling occurs, there is no higher revving. It just sputters and dies, "amp" light flickering on the gauges. If I pump the gas it will stay alive.

The mix on the car has always been sporadic (ot lived in Florida for 30 years before coming to North Carolina) and has become noticably strong again since the heat has hit, and the A/C rebuilt.
